dc.description.abstractThe abstract explores the implementation of experience in organizing vehicle technical inspections as a critical factor for ensuring road safety. The author analyzes the reasons for the cancellation of mandatory technical control in Ukraine, with the high corruption component being the key factor. The work provides a comparative analysis of technical inspection systems in Germany, Poland, and Japan. Particular attention is paid to the automation of inspection processes, the use of centralized electronic registries to prevent fraud, and the compliance of national legislation with the requirements of EU Directive 2014/45. Based on foreign experience, the need to restore effective technical control in Ukraine through transparent mechanisms of certified service centers and a strict system of fines is substantiated.
