dc.description.abstractУ статті досліджується історія становлення і розвитку наукових досліджень з інформатики та управління виробничими процесами у Національному технічному університеті «Харківський політехнічний інститут» протягом ХХ – на початку ХХІ століття. Визначені основні чинники впливу на результативність наукових досліджень у виші: наявність підготовлених та ерудованих наукових кадрів; роль керівників кафедрами вишів у розгортанні напрямів розвитку наукових пошуків, що відповідали профілю базового структурного підрозділу; ступінь зв’язку науковців вишу з представниками академічної науки та виробничої сфери. The article examines the history of formation and development of research in computer science and management of production processes at the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» throughout the XX-XXI century. The main factors of influence on the efficiency of scientific research at the university: the availability of trained and erudite scientific personnel; role of heads of departments of universities in the deployment areas of scientific research that answered basic profile of the branch; degree of communication between the researchers and representatives of the production sphere. Thirdly, when implementing an integrative approach, the teachers of mathematics and economics use the method of generalizing the knowledge and skills of the students, and this, in turn, leads to the organization of the process of mental unification of the components of mathematical and economic competences according to their essential features. At the same time, the economic content of the problems and mathematical models, that play a role, on the one hand as a subject of study, and on the other hand as a method for analyzing the economic content, remain primary.
