А.The article examines social engineering as a key instrument of influence in contemporary armed conflicts, where human cognition becomes a primary target within the information domain. The study analyzes mechanisms of behavioral manipulation through digital communication platforms, social media, and messaging services. Wartime conditions intensify psychological vulnerabilities such as fear, uncertainty, and stress, which reduce individuals’ ability to critically evaluate information. The research highlights how impersonation tactics, disinformation campaigns, and emotionally charged narratives are used to achieve strategic objectives within hybrid warfare. The article emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive approach to countering social engineering that combines technical security measures, organizational procedures, and the development of cognitive resilience among users. У статті досліджено соціальну інженерію як один із ключових інструментів інформаційного впливу в умовах сучасних збройних конфліктів. Проаналізовано механізми маніпулювання поведінкою людини через цифрові комунікаційні платформи, соціальні мережі та месенджери. Показано, що в умовах війни людський фактор стає однією з основних цілей інформаційних атак, оскільки психологічні стани страху, невизначеності та стресу знижують здатність до критичного аналізу інформації. Розглянуто використання тактик імітації, дезінформації та емоційного впливу для досягнення стратегічних цілей у межах гібридної війни. Наголошено на необхідності комплексного підходу до протидії соціальній інженерії, що поєднує технічні засоби захисту, організаційні процедури безпеки та розвиток когнітивної стійкості користувачів.
