The theses present the main provisions regarding the essence, objectives, and importance of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) activities. The key stages of SIGINT operations are described, including data collection, processing, analysis, and application in the field of national security. Legal and ethical issues of such operations are discussed, particularly the protection of human rights and privacy. The role of SIGINT in combating terrorism and cybercrime, as well as the impact of technological progress on its effectiveness, is outlined. It is emphasized that in modern conditions, SIGINT remains an essential tool of state security that requires further improvement of its technical and legal implementation mechanisms.
