    The paper explores the peculiarities of applying profiling in cyber police activities aimed at identifying criminal intentions, behavioral patterns, and potential cyber threats. The study outlines the main types of profiling – behavioral, psychological, and demographic – and analyzes their significance in detecting offenses in cyberspace. The research highlights key ethical and legal challenges associated with profiling, including personal data protection, privacy, and the prevention of discrimination. The necessity of regulatory frameworks and transparency in profiling methods used by law enforcement agencies is emphasized. It is concluded that the effectiveness of profiling depends on the combination of technical, analytical, and legal approaches, and its implementation must comply with the principles of legality, proportionality, and respect for human rights.

    Програму укладено для відображення планування та проведення міжкафедрального семінару «Україна в умовах сучасних кіберзагроз». Програма складається з порядку роботи семінару та двох розділів. В першому розділі зазначені теми доповідей науково-педагогічних співробітників та практичних працівників, в другому теми доповідей здобувачів вищої освіти. The program was concluded to reflect the planning and holding of the interdepartmental seminar «Ukraine in the conditions of modern cyber threats». The program consists of the work order of the seminar and two sections. In the first section, the topics of the reports of scientific and pedagogical staff and practical workers are indicated, in the second, the topics of the reports of higher education students.
