Основна думка статті полягає в тому, що світова політична ситуація вимагає реалізації мовної політики у галузі іноземних мов у системі освіти. Автор підкреслює, що вміння володіти іноземною мовою стає суспільною необхідністю, і що його вивчення сприяє розвитку мовних, пізнавальних та комунікативних навичок. Особливу увагу приділено значенню вивчення англійської як міжнародної мови на сьогоднішній день. Автор також наголошує на зміні підходу до навчання іноземних мов у вищих навчальних закладах, де активно впроваджуються нові, досконаліші методи навчання. Розглядаються різні аспекти важливості володіння іноземними мовами з погляду майбутньої професійної діяльності та спілкування за умов глобалізації. Загалом стаття звертає увагу на актуальність та важливість вивчення іноземних мов у сучасній освітній системі для успішної адаптації особистості у сучасному інформаційному та культурному просторі. Theses examine the actual problem of education in the context of modern society and globalization. It is noted that in the 21st century, the key competitive advantage of states will be the nation's level of education and the ability to adapt to advanced technologies. The main idea of the article is that the world political situation requires the implementation of a language policy in the field of foreign languages in the education system. The author emphasizes that the ability to master a foreign language becomes a social necessity, and that its study contributes to the development of language, cognitive and communication skills. Special attention is paid to the importance of learning English as an international language today. The author also emphasizes the change in the approach to teaching foreign languages in higher educational institutions, where new, more advanced teaching methods are actively being implemented. Various aspects of the importance of mastering foreign languages from the point of view of future professional activity and communication under the conditions of globalization are considered. Освіта сьогодні є одним із ключових факторів суспільного розвитку, згладжування диспропорцій, забезпечення політичної стабільності та сталого розвитку у світовій економіці. Нова місія університетів стала потужним стимулом модернізації освіти та має забезпечувати реальні запити розвитку економіки знань. In the modern world, the processes of modernization and improvement of the quality of higher education lead to the emergence of a number of problems that can be solved only by the introduction of global changes, the creation of an innovative European space, integral methods and approaches of management, pedagogy, sociology, cultural studies, philosophy and other sciences. Philosophical and cultural analysis of the current situation shows the great importance of studying the influence of the European cultural tradition on the establishment and development of European higher education, its integration into a single educational space. Education today is one of the key factors of social development, smoothing out disparities, ensuring political stability and sustainable development in the world economy. The new mission of universities has become a powerful stimulus for the modernization of education and should provide for real requests for the development of the knowledge economy.
