Особливу увагу приділено новітньому періоду історії університету: релокації в умовах війни, відновленню освітнього процесу, волонтерській діяльності та стратегічній трансформації на нових локаціях. Видання також висвітлює сучасну структуру, інноваційні освітні проєкти, міжнародну співпрацю та героїзм випускників, курсантів і викладачів, які стали на захист України. This publication is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs – one of the leading institutions of higher education within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, which has evolved from a specialized secondary police school into a modern European-style university. The book details the key stages in the institution’s formation and development, its role in training specialists for law enforcement agencies, its scientific achievements, and the formation of professional traditions. Particular attention is paid to the most recent period in the university’s history: relocation during wartime, the resumption of the educational process, volunteer activities, and strategic transformation at new locations. The publication is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs - the leading institution of legal education and training of law enforcement officers in Donetsk region. The basic stages of the formation of the higher education institution are revealed, from the foundation of the Donetsk special high school of the militia to obtaining the status of a university. The modern structure and directions of activity of the educational institution in the cities of Mariupol and Kryvyi Rih are determined, and the prospects for its development are presented. The final section contains reminiscences by staff and alumni illustrating key moments in the university's history.
