dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted to define and outline the main theoretical characteristics of the concepts of "self-education", "self-educational activity of a future teacher of foreign languages", "adaptation", "professional adaptation of a teacher of foreign languages", "individualization of professional training of a future teacher of foreign languages" in institutions of higher education . The author defined self-educational activity as: an internal, conscious, purposeful process of personal improvement and professional growth of future philology teachers in the field of foreign languages based on the processes of self-knowledge, self-education, self-control and self-realization. in the process of professional training through the development of psychological and pedagogical qualities of the foreign language teacher. Це дослідження було проведено для визначення, окреслення основних теоретичних характеристик понять «самоосвіта», «самоосвітня діяльність майбутнього вчителя іноземних мов», «адаптація», «професійна адаптація вчителя іноземних мов», «індивідуалізація професійної підготовки майбутнього вчителя іноземних мов» у закладах вищої освіти. Автором було визначено самоосвітню діяльність як: внутрішній, свідомий, цілеспрямований процес особистісного вдосконалення та професійного зростання майбутніх учителів-філологів в галузі іноземних мов на основі процесів самопізнання, самоосвіти, самоконтролю та самореалізації. в процесі професійної підготовки через розвиток психолого-педагогічних якостей особистості учителя іноземних мов.
