dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the article is to research the stimulating cadets' interest in studying a foreign language is conducting binary classes with employees of internal affairs bodies and native speakers. Conducting binary classes with a native speaker became a positive experience in the formation of foreign language communicative competence of future law enforcement officers. These types of work stimulated the cadets' activity in class, contributed to the development of foreign language communication skills, and helped to eliminate the psycho- logical barrier during discussions with foreigners. During the binary classes, the cadets learned professional vocabulary better and acquired professional foreign language communication skills. A similar practice should be used in further work with cadets to maintain their constant interest in studying foreign languages. Cadets are highly interested not only in the represented professional context, but especially in the live communication with the representative of other culture. Метою статті є дослідження стимулювання інтересу курсантів до вивчення іноземної мови шляхом проведення бінарних занять з працівниками органів внутрішніх справ та носіями мови. Позитивним досвідом у формуванні іншомовної комунікативної компетентності майбутніх правоохоронців стало проведення бінарних занять з носієм мови. Такі види роботи стимулювали активність курсантів на заняттях, сприяли розвитку навичок іншомовного спілкування, усунули психологічний бар’єр під час спілкування з іноземцями. Під час бінарних занять курсанти краще засвоїли професійну лексику та набули навичок професійного іншомовного спілкування. Подібну практику слід застосовувати і в подальшій роботі з курсантами для підтримки їх постійного інтересу до вивчення іноземних мов. Курсантів дуже цікавить не тільки репрезентований професійний контекст, але особливо живе спілкування з представником іншої культури.
