I.Участь у наукових конференціях іноземними мовами є однією з форм проведення формування іншомовної комунікативної компетенції абітурієнтів. Під час підготовки наукової роботи, курсанти визначають теми, вивчають іноземні джерела, проводять порівняльний аналіз та висловлюють свою думку. Протягом багатьох років кафедра іноземних мов Донецького державного університету внутрішніх справ проводить всеукраїнські науково-практичні конференції іноземними мовами на тему «Правоохоронні органи на охороні правопорядку та конституційні свободи громадян». Курсанти доповідають та спілкуються на професійно орієнтованих конференціях іноземною мовою, демонструють навички іншомовного мовлення в науковому стилі. Здобувачі вищої освіти також регулярно беруть участь у наукових конференціях, що проводяться у закладах вищої освіти МВС України. Participating in scientific conferences in foreign languages is one of the forms of realizing the formation of foreign language communicative competence of the applicants. During the preparation of a scientific paper, they define the topic, study foreign sources, conduct a comparative analysis and express their opinion. For many years, the Department of Foreign Languages of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs has been holding all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences in foreign languages on the topic "Law enforcement agencies protecting law and order and constitutional freedoms of citizens." Cadets report and communicate at professionally oriented conferences in a foreign language, demonstrate foreign language speaking skills in a scientific style. I.; Мамонова О. І.Кафедра іноземних мов Донецького державного університету внутрішніх справ щорічно проводить Всеукраїнську науково-практичну студентську конференцію з іноземних мов. Останнім часом його темою є "Правоохоронні органи на захисті правопорядку та конституційних свобод в умовах миру та воєнного стану". Тематичні напрямки конференції наступні:·- захист конституційних прав людини в діяльності поліції в зоні військового конфлікту; - міжнародні стандарти правоохоронної діяльності в мирний час і під час воєнного стану; - запобігання правопорушенням правоохоронними органами в мирний час і під час воєнного стану; - взаємодія правоохоронних органів та громадськості у сфері громадського порядку в мирний час і під час воєнного стану; ·- актуальні питання підготовки співробітників правоохоронних органів в мирний час і під час воєнного стану. Кадети та студенти з різних університетів України готують реферати та презентації іноземних мов, беруть участь у наукових дискусіях. Як показує досвід роботи, участь студентів та курсантів у науково-практичних конференціях на іноземних мовах є потужним інструментом розвитку їх комунікативної компетенції в іноземній мові. Цей процес сприяє не тільки розвитку мовних навичок, але і формуванню важливих компетенцій, таких як критичне мислення, здатність до наукових аргументів та міжкультурної комунікації. Участь у конференціях також відкриває нові можливості для професійного розвитку та інтеграції в міжнародне наукове співтовариство, що важливо для формування конкурентоспроможних фахівців у глобалізованому світі. The Department of Foreign Languages of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs holds annually All-Ukrainian scientific and practical cadet/student conference in foreign languages. Recently, its topic is «Law enforcement agencies: the defense of public order and constitutional freedoms during peace and martial law». Thematic directions of the conference are as follows: ·- protection of constitutional human rights in the activities of police in the zone of military conflict; ·- international standards of law enforcement activities in peacetime and under martial law; · - prevention of offenses by law enforcement agencies in peacetime and under martial law; · - interaction of law enforcement agencies and the public in the field of public order in peacetime and under martial law; · - topical issues of training law enforcement officers in peacetime and under martial law. Cadets and students from different universities in Ukraine prepare the abstracts and presentations of foreign languages, participate in scientific discussions. As work experience shows, the participation of students and cadets in scientific and practical conferences in foreign languages is a powerful tool for developing their foreign language communicative competence. This process contributes not only to the development of language skills, but also to the formation of important competencies, such as critical thinking, the ability to make scientific arguments and intercultural communication. І.Методи і форми роботи наукового гуртка включають: - проведення наукових конференцій, круглих столів за участю представників правоохоронних органів, сертифікованих перекладачів та інших фахівців; - використання інтерактивних методів навчання, таких як ролеві ігри, симуляції реальних ситуацій, тематичні мовні тренінги; - навчання професійному словнику, конкретним мовним конструкціям, які можуть бути корисними під час виконання службових обов'язків; - підтримка самостійної роботи студентів за допомогою дослідницьких проектів, написання наукових статей на тему використання іноземної мови в правоохоронних органах. Робота наукових гуртків з використанням іноземних мов сприяє розширенню міжнародного співробітництва з іншими університетами та організаціями з метою поліпшення практики взаємодії студентів та курсантів з носіями іноземних мов. Students who actively participate in the work of the scientific group have the opportunity to improve not only the level of foreign language proficiency, but also the ability to communicate in professional situations that require accuracy and clarity. Involvement in practical tasks (translation, oral presentations, negotiations) ensures the formation of effective communication skills necessary for a successful career in law enforcement. The methods and forms of work of the scientific group include the following: - conducting scientific conferences, round tables with the participation of representatives of law enforcement agencies, certified translators and other specialists; - use of interactive training methods, such as role-playing games, simulations of real situations, thematic language trainings; - teaching professional vocabulary, specific language constructions that can be useful during the performance of official duties; - supporting students' independent work through research projects, writing scientific articles on the topic of using a foreign language in law enforcement. І.The purpose of the article is to research the stimulating cadets' interest in studying a foreign language is conducting binary classes with employees of internal affairs bodies and native speakers. Conducting binary classes with a native speaker became a positive experience in the formation of foreign language communicative competence of future law enforcement officers. These types of work stimulated the cadets' activity in class, contributed to the development of foreign language communication skills, and helped to eliminate the psycho- logical barrier during discussions with foreigners. During the binary classes, the cadets learned professional vocabulary better and acquired professional foreign language communication skills. A similar practice should be used in further work with cadets to maintain their constant interest in studying foreign languages. Cadets are highly interested not only in the represented professional context, but especially in the live communication with the representative of other culture. Метою статті є дослідження стимулювання інтересу курсантів до вивчення іноземної мови шляхом проведення бінарних занять з працівниками органів внутрішніх справ та носіями мови. Позитивним досвідом у формуванні іншомовної комунікативної компетентності майбутніх правоохоронців стало проведення бінарних занять з носієм мови. Такі види роботи стимулювали активність курсантів на заняттях, сприяли розвитку навичок іншомовного спілкування, усунули психологічний бар’єр під час спілкування з іноземцями. Під час бінарних занять курсанти краще засвоїли професійну лексику та набули навичок професійного іншомовного спілкування. Подібну практику слід застосовувати і в подальшій роботі з курсантами для підтримки їх постійного інтересу до вивчення іноземних мов. The use of AI in teaching English for Specific Purposes represents a promising development in the evolution of language education. By leveraging AI's capabilities to personalize learning, provide real-time feedback, and simulate real-world contexts, ESP programs can better prepare learners for success in their professional and academic careers. While there are challenges to overcome, including data privacy concerns and ensuring equitable access to technology, the potential of AI to transform ESP education is undeniable. AI continues to develop, its role in ESP will expand offering new opportunities to enhance language learning experiences for all. Метою роботи є дослідження теоретичних і практичних основ використання АІ у вищих навчальних закладах зі специфічними (феноменальними) умовами навчання. Використання штучного інтелекту у викладанні англійської мови для спеціальних цілей є багатообіцяючим кроком в еволюції мовної освіти. Використовуючи можливості штучного інтелекту для персоналізації навчання, надання зворотного зв’язку в режимі реального часу та моделювання контекстів реального світу, програми ІМПС можуть краще підготувати учнів до успіху в їхній професійній та академічній кар’єрі. Хоча існують проблеми, які необхідно подолати, зокрема проблеми з конфіденційністю даних і забезпечення рівноправного доступу до технологій, потенціал штучного інтелекту для трансформації ІМПС освіти незаперечний. Involving foreign expert instructors in English for Professional Purposes classes offers a powerful strategy to enhance the relevance, authenticity, and effectiveness of ESP programs for cadets. Grounded in the core principles of ESP and supported by pedagogical research, this approach bridges the gap between classroom instruction and the communicative realities of professional practice. By leveraging expert insights, institutions can equip cadets not only with language skills but also with the intercultural and professional competencies necessary for success in international and multinational environments. Метою роботи є обґрунтування залучення іноземних фахівців до занять з англійської мови для професійного спрямування курсантів. У контексті сучасної військової та професійної освіти англійська мова спеціального призначення (ІМПС) відіграє життєво важливу роль у підготовці курсантів до ефективної роботи в міжнародному та багатомовному середовищі. ІМПС зосереджується на забезпеченні учнів цільовими мовними навичками, які безпосередньо пов’язані з професійними завданнями, технічною лексикою та комунікативними потребами, притаманними їхнім сферам навчання чи майбутній роботі. Залучення іноземних інструкторів-експертів до занять з англійської мови для професійних цілей пропонує потужну стратегію підвищення актуальності, автентичності та ефективності програм ІМПС для курсантів. Цей підхід, заснований на основних принципах ІМПС і підтриманий педагогічними дослідженнями, усуває розрив між навчанням у класі та комунікативними реаліями професійної практики. Використовуючи знання експертів, заклади можуть озброїти курсантів не лише мовними навичками, але й міжкультурними та професійними навичками, необхідними для успіху в міжнародному та багатонаціональному середовищі.
