dc.description.abstractThe article explores the relevance of teaching Open-Source Intelligence technologies (OSINT) in Law Enforcement training. The study highlights how OSINT training can enhance law enforcement officers' digital literacy, analytical skills, and investigative capabilities to effectively counter modern threats like cybercrime and terrorism. The integration of OSINT into disciplines such as "Information Support of Professional Activity" and "Criminal Analysis" is considered. The author concludes that focusing on both practical tools and ethical aspects ensures that graduates are better prepared for modern security challenges. У статті досліджено актуальність впровадження технологій розвідки на основі відкритих джерел (OSINT) у навчальний процес підготовки фахівців правоохоронних органів. Автор обґрунтовує, що навчання OSINT сприяє підвищенню цифрової грамотності, розвитку аналітичних навичок та розслідувальних можливостей курсантів для ефективної протидії сучасним загрозам, таким як кіберзлочинність та тероризм. Розглянуто досвід інтеграції OSINT у такі дисципліни, как «Інформаційне забезпечення професійної діяльності», «Оперативно-розшукова діяльність» та «Кримінальний аналіз». Наголошується на важливості вивчення як практичних інструментів (Maltego, Bellingcat), так і етичних аспектів та міжнародних протоколів (Берклійський протокол).
