U.Society’s social demand for highly qualified specialists capable of innovative engineering and technical activities actualizes the need to ensure the quality of engineering and technical training. Such changes require modernization of higher technical education at the legislative and administrative levels. Therefore, the introduction of innovative STEAM (virtual and augmented reality, IT technologies, robotics) into the educational process of higher education institutions is a relevant element of the formation of STEAM skills in students. The purpose of the research is the scientific substantiation, conceptualization and development of a digitalization system of the educational and scientific space of a higher education institution based on STEAM technologies, which will contribute to the adaptation of education seekers to educational activities, ensure procedurally and increase the quality of education. The object of research is the educational process in institutions of higher education. The subject of the research is the theoretical and methodological justification of the possibility and expediency of creating a model of digitalization of the educational and scientific space based on the principles of STEAM education. The implementation of these rights is guaranteed by the constitution, various conventions and other regulations. «Today, three areas of modern international law attempt to provide protection to victims of war: human rights law, refugee law and humanitarian law». A minor violation of human rights and freedoms can be proven and punished properly in peacetime. It is to implement their observance in an armed conflict. One of the important human rights is the right to education. Education means teaching and upbringing the younger generation. Military aggression threatens human life and freedom. The right to education seems to be receding into the background. Preserving the life and freedom of citizens is an important task for the state. An equally important goal is the formation of the personality of a citizen, the preservation of cultural values and statehood. This is where the matter of education comes to the front. Raising a decent and conscious person, transferring the experience of previous generations, lifelong learning are priorities for a democratic and law-governed state. The conditions of learning are gradually adapted to the conditions of life during armed conflict. Education with elements of blended learning is a solution to a complex problem for educational institutions. Conducting online classes using various types of innovative technologies allows the teachers to train students. These technologies are the following: «Virtual Reality (VR) in Education, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing for Education, 3D Printing, Social Media in Educational Institutions, the Use of Biometrics». Upbringing provides for the formation of certain qualities of a person through constant direct communication and reflection. It is very difficult to carry out the process of upbringing online. On the one hand, a mixed format (online and offline) will strengthen the second component of the educational process in the conditions of military aggression, namely upbringing. Communication with the teacher and groupmates in the classroom will contribute to this. On the other hand, the role of parents is important in this process too. They must support teachers and develop their children constantly. Particular attention should be paid to upbringing in young people a quality of responsibility, tolerance, and the desire for self-improvement. Respect for the life and dignity of a person is one of the important tasks of education in a military conflict. The implementation of the human right to education in the context of an armed conflict is the priority for the state. Повага до прав і свобод людини є важливою і невід’ємною частиною життя людей у демократичному суспільстві. Реалізація цих прав гарантується конституцією, різними конвенціями та іншими нормативними актами. «Сьогодні три сфери сучасного міжнародного права намагаються забезпечити захист жертв війни: право прав людини, право біженців і гуманітарне право». Незначне порушення прав і свобод людини може бути доведено та покаране належним чином у мирний час. Це реалізація їх дотримання в умовах збройного конфлікту. Одним із важливих прав людини є право на освіту. Освіта означає навчання і виховання підростаючого покоління. Військова агресія загрожує життю і свободі людини. Право на освіту ніби відходить на другий план. Збереження життя і свободи громадян є важливим завданням держави. Не менш важливою метою є формування особистості громадянина, збереження культурних цінностей і державності. Тут на перший план виходить питання освіти. Виховання порядної та свідомої людини, передача досвіду попередніх поколінь, навчання впродовж життя є пріоритетними для демократичної та правової держави. Умови навчання поступово адаптуються до умов життя під час збройного конфлікту. Навчання з елементами змішаного навчання – вирішення комплексної проблеми для навчальних закладів. Проведення онлайн-занять з використанням різноманітних інноваційних технологій дозволяє викладачам готувати студентів. Це такі технології: «Віртуальна реальність (VR) в освіті, штучний інтелект і машинне навчання, хмарні обчислення для освіти, 3D-друк, соціальні медіа в навчальних закладах, використання біометрії». Виховання передбачає формування певних якостей особистості шляхом постійного безпосереднього спілкування та роздумів. Здійснювати процес виховання онлайн дуже складно. З одного боку, змішаний формат (онлайн та офлайн) посилить другу складову освітнього процесу в умовах військової агресії, а саме виховну. Цьому сприятиме спілкування з учителем та одногрупниками в класі. З іншого боку, важлива в цьому процесі і роль батьків. Вони повинні постійно підтримувати вчителів і розвивати своїх дітей. Особливу увагу слід приділяти вихованню в молоді якості відповідальності, толерантності, прагнення до самовдосконалення. Повага до життя та гідності людини є одним із важливих завдань виховання в умовах військового конфлікту. Знання мови, грамотне її користування, вміння спілкуватися, досягати успіху в процесі спілкування – це теми успіху, які позитивно вплинуть на професійну діяльність правоохоронців, де мова є не перешкодою, а ключем до порозуміння. Методом дослідження, використаним у роботі, є єдиний когнітивно-педагогічний підхід, що включає методи логічного аналізу, концептуального аналізу, особистісно-діяльнісний і комунікативний підходи, а також культурологічний і термінологічний підходи, що розкриває єдність аксіологічних і особистісно-творчих якостей. Новизна дослідження визначається вибором завдань та об’єкта дослідження. Когнітивні методи «зближуються» з функціонально-прагматичним підходом, який передбачає вивчення мови з точки зору її використання у зв’язку з адресатом мови, цілями та ситуацією спілкування, тобто екстралінгвістичними чинниками. Оскільки мова є частиною гуманітарного знання, її вивчення якісно вводить нас в інший «апарат» пізнання світу, залучає нас до гуманітарної культури через мову з традиційно естетичними критеріями, підвищуючи тим самим професійний рівень студентів. У наш час науково-технічні галузі розвиваються. Це результат розширення словникового запасу термінів, що використовуються в певній науковій галузі. Існує багато спеціальних слів, які мають інші, більш загальні назви – терміни різними мовами, сприйняття і правильний переклад яких іншою мовою зараз особливо актуальні. The subject of research is English as a means of professional communication. The author substantiates the role of a foreign language in the training of police officers. One of the main tasks of the educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is to train competent, responsible police officers who are able to work at the level of international standards. The police officers gain professional communication skills by developing a linguistic culture through the learning of foreign languages. Knowledge of the language, its competent use, the ability to communicate, to reach success in the process of communication are themes of success that will positively affect the professional activities of law enforcement officers where language is not an obstacle but the key to understanding. The method of research used in the work is a single cognitive pedagogical approach, which includes methods of logical analysis, conceptual analysis, personal and activity and communicative approaches, as well as cultural and terminological approaches, revealing the unity of axiological and personal and creative qualities. The novelty of the research is determined by the choice of tasks and the object of research. Cognitive methods ―close up‖ with the functional and pragmatic approach, which involves the study of language in terms of its use in connection with the addressee of the language, goals and situation of communication, i.e. extralinguistic factors. Since language is a part of humanitarian knowledge, its study qualitatively introduces us to the other ―apparatus‖ of knowledge of the world, brings us into the humanitarian culture through the language with traditionally aesthetic criteria, thereby raising the professional level of students. Nowadays, the scientific and technical fields are growing. It is the result of expansion of the vocabulary of terms used in a particular scientific field. У світлі сучасних вимог до цілей навчання іноземної мови змінюється статус як студента, так і викладача. Тепер вони переходять від схеми «викладач-студент» до інноваційних технологій. Викладачі іноземної мови в нелінгвістичному вищому навчальному закладі покликані задовольнити соціальний запит суспільства – підготувати в стислі терміни фахівця, який добре володіє іноземною мовою. Проте залишається незадоволеність процесом навчання іноземної мови, яка може бути пов’язана з недостатньою кількістю годин, відведених на її вивчення, організаційно-змістовою стороною навчання, формами, методами і засобами навчання. The conducted researches of pedagogical work have shown that teaching foreign languages today is impossible without an innovative component. In the light of modern requirements for the goals of teaching a foreign language, the status of both the student and the lecturer is changing. Now they move from the “lecturer-student” scheme to innovative technologies. The lecturers of a foreign language in a nonlinguistic higher education institution are expected to fulfill the social demand of the society - to prepare in a short time a specialist who has a good command of foreign language. It is possible to achieve the set task - to teach the student to speak, understand, and acquire information of a different nature from the original sources within time limited by educational framework - by combining traditional and innovative teaching methods, based on the principles of communicative interaction. The great majority of students realizes the importance of knowing a foreign language and sees it as one of the means of increasing their professional competence and competitiveness in the labor market. The integration of visual thinking strategies in teaching English to law enforcement cadets offers an innovative approach to language acquisition that enhances comprehension and communication skills. In the context of law enforcement training, where clear communication and quick decision-making are crucial, the use of visual tools can significantly improve cadets' understanding of complex legal terminology and enhance their ability to interact with the community. This article explores the benefits of using visual thinking strategies (VTS) in the language education of law enforcement cadets and how these strategies can be effectively implemented in training programs. Величезний потік інформації та впровадження комунікативних видів діяльності у навчальний процес збагатили методику вивчення іноземних мов поняттям «інтенсивні методи навчання». Постає питання створення таких методів, які були б спрямовані на реалізацію завдань, висунутих суспільством. Інтеграція стратегій візуального мислення у викладанні англійської мови курсантам правоохоронних органів пропонує інноваційний підхід до оволодіння мовою, що сприяє розвитку навичок розуміння та комунікації. У контексті підготовки правоохоронців використання візуальних засобів може суттєво покращити розуміння курсантами складної юридичної термінології та підвищити їхню здатність взаємодіяти з громадою. Аналіз навчально-методичного комплексу навчальної дисципліни з огляду на вимоги сьогодення показує, що задля ефективної підготовки курсантів ВНЗ системи МВС зі специфічними умовами навчання вочевидь недостатньо передбачених НМК аудиторних годин, в рівній мірі це стосується як і передбачених годин для викладення лекційного матеріалу, так і практичних і семінарських занять. Надзвичайно важливим в цьому сенсі є питання збільшення часу для практичних занять. Mastering the methods and skills of providing first aid is an important component of the special training of modern police officers, the amount and number of training hours provided for such training is not sufficient for quality training. The analysis of the educational and methodological complex of the educational discipline in view of today's requirements shows that for the effective training of cadets of higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system with specific learning conditions, there are obviously not enough classroom hours provided by the NMC, this applies equally to the hours provided for the presentation of lecture material and practical and seminar classes. Extremely important in this sense is the issue of increasing the time for practical classes.
