3D-моделювання та 3D-друк: нові підходи до навчання майбутніх правоохоронців

У тезах розглядаються перспективи впровадження технологій 3D-моделювання та 3D-друку в освітній процес підготовки майбутніх правоохоронців. Обґрунтовано, що використання цих інноваційних підходів відкриває нові можливості для створення матеріальних навчальних об'єктів та відтворення реалістичних віртуальних сценаріїв кримінальних правопорушень і дорожньо-транспортних пригод. Доведено, що інтеграція 3D-технологій сприяє модернізації освітніх програм закладів вищої освіти зі специфічними умовами навчання та значно підвищує ефективність практичної підготовки поліцейських до сучасних викликів. The abstracts consider the prospects of implementing 3D modeling and 3D printing technologies in the educational process of training future law enforcement officers. It is substantiated that the use of these innovative approaches opens up new possibilities for creating material training objects and reproducing realistic virtual scenarios of criminal offenses and traffic accidents. It is proven that the integration of 3D technologies contributes to the modernization of educational programs of higher education institutions with specific learning conditions and significantly increases the efficiency of practical training of police officers for modern challenges.
About professionally oriented foreign language receptive lexical competence of law students

This study argues that the formation of professionally oriented receptive lexical competence is based on the study of authentic professional texts and exercises for them. Due to the limited number of practical English classes, the learning process often shifts to students’ independent work. A modern student often perceives the learning process through a close connection with the latest technologies. That is why, in order to improve professionally oriented foreign language receptive lexical competence, it is advisable to recommend that students take distance professional courses in English on a special educational platform for lawyers within the framework of the Council of Europe’s HELP (Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals) Program as independent work. У даному дослідженні стверджується, що формування професійно спрямованої рецептивної лексичної компетенції базується на вивченні автентичних фахових текстів та вправ до них. Через обмежену кількість практичних занять з англійської мови процес навчання часто зміщується на самостійну роботу студентів. Сучасний студент часто сприймає процес навчання через тісний зв'язок із новітніми технологіями. Тому з метою вдосконалення професійно орієнтованої іншомовної рецептивної лексичної компетенції доцільно рекомендувати студентам проходити дистанційні професійні курси з англійської мови на спеціальній освітній платформі для юристів у рамках Програми Ради Європи HELP (Human Rights Education для юристів) як самостійну роботу.

Тепер вони мають у своєму розпорядженні низку інструментів і ресурсів, які покращують процес навчання. З інтерактивними додатками та онлайн-платформами відкриваються нові можливості для підвищення ефективності навчання студентів та їх досвіду. Викладачі можуть персоналізувати навчання, надавати інтерактивні мультимедійні ресурси та сприяти спілкуванню та співпраці між учнями. Крім того, технології полегшують їм доступ до актуальної інформації та відстеження прогресу кожного учня. The thesis presents and substantiates the advantages of using EDTECH for teaching ESP at university. Educational technology has changed the way teachers teach ESP in the distance classroom. They now have a range of tools and resources at their disposal that enhance the learning process. With interactive applications and online platforms, new opportunities are opening up to improve the effectiveness of student learning and their experience. Educators can personalize learning, provide interactive multimedia resources, and facilitate communication and collaboration among students. In addition, technology makes it easier for them to access up-to-date information and track each student's progress.
Components of digital literacy and competence for ESP teachers in the context of distance learning

This study aimed to analyze the ways of developing an ESP teacher's digital literacy that should encompass three dimensions: technological knowledge, content knowledge, and pedagogical - didactic knowledge. Meanwhile, digital competence should be based on the ability to apply this knowledge in ESP teaching practice. Teachers and students should be motivated to acquire digital literacy and competence, which will lead to stability and resilience of education in times of crisis, one of which is war. Це дослідження мало на меті проаналізувати шляхи розвитку цифрової грамотності викладача ESP, яка має охоплювати три виміри: технологічні знання, знання змісту та педагогічно-дидактичні знання. Водночас цифрова компетентність має ґрунтуватися на здатності застосовувати ці знання в практиці викладання англійської мови спеціального вжитку. Викладачі та студенти мають бути мотивовані до набуття цифрової грамотності та компетенції, що призведе до стабільності та стійкості освіти у часи кризи, однією з яких є війна.
Current technologies for forming foreign language communicative competence of future lawyers

Перспективи розвитку сучасних технологій навчання комунікативної компетенції іноземної мови для юридичних галузей виглядають досить оптимістично. Ось кілька основних напрямків: 1. Інтеграція з технологіями віртуальної реальності (ВР). Віртуальні тренінги, в яких студенти можуть взаємодіяти з іншими учасниками в імітованих міжнародних ситуаціях, допоможуть розвинути практичні навички. 2. Поширеність використання адаптивних навчальних систем. Адаптивні системи навчання, які адаптуються до індивідуальних потреб та рівня знань учня, можуть зробити навчання більш персоналізованим та ефективним. 3. Міждисциплінарні курси. У майбутньому зростатиме потреба в курсах, які поєднують вивчення юридичної термінології з іншими дисциплінами (такими як бізнес, економіка, політика), що дозволить студентам працювати в багатогранному міжнародному середовищі. Формування комунікативної компетенції іноземної мови майбутніх юристів є важливим аспектом їх професійної підготовки. Використання сучасних технологій, таких як онлайн-курси, симулятори, мобільні додатки та інші інноваційні методи, значно підвищує ефективність навчання. Оскільки міжнародні відносини у сфері права постійно розвиваються, сучасні технології є необхідним інструментом для успішного формування компетентних фахівців у цій сфері. The prospects for the development of modern technologies of teaching foreign language communicative competence for legal branches look quite optimistic. Here are a few main areas: 1. Integration with virtual reality (VR) technologies. Virtual trainings, in which students can interact with other participants in simulated international situations, will help develop practical skills. 2. Extended use of adaptive learning systems. Adaptive learning systems that adapt to the individual needs and level of knowledge of the student can make studying more personalized and effective. 3. Interdisciplinary courses. In the future, the need for courses that combine the study of legal terminology with other disciplines (such as business, economy, politics) will increase, which will allow students to work in a multifaceted international environment. Formation of foreign language communicative competence of future lawyers is an important aspect of their professional training. The use of modern technologies, such as online courses, simulators, mobile applications and other innovative methods, significantly increases studying efficiency. Since international relations in the field of law are constantly developing, modern technologies are a necessary tool for the successful formation of competent professionals in this sphere.
Developing business communication skills through interdisciplinary approach to study English

The present-day fast-developing knowledge society calls for an interdisciplinary approach to studying a foreign language in non-linguistic Universities. To meet contemporary requirements, teaching a foreign language for specific domains demands a new syllabus approach meant to enhance students’ motivation to study and improve both language level and business communication skills. The paper covers some issues of interdisciplinary approach, defines the fundamental principles of its implementation and dwells upon actual program samples for using interdisciplinary links of ESP and profile disciplines in different fields of higher education. Сучасне суспільство знань, що швидко розвивається, вимагає міждисциплінарного підходу до вивчення іноземної мови в нелінгвістичних університетах. Щоб відповідати сучасним вимогам, викладання іноземної мови за професійним спрямуванням вимагає нового підходу до побудови навчальних програм, спрямованого на підвищення мотивації студентів до навчання та покращення як рівня володіння мовою, так і навичок ділового спілкування. У статті висвітлюються деякі питання міждисциплінарного підходу, визначаються основні принципи його реалізації та розглядаються реальні приклади використання міждисциплінарних зв'язків англійської мови професійного спрямування та профільних дисциплін у різних галузях вищої освіти.
Developing cyber hygiene skills in children as a foundation for their information security under martial law

The publication examines the development of cyber hygiene skills in children as a basic prerequisite for ensuring their information security under martial law. It is shown that the active use of digital technologies increases the risks of cyberbullying, phishing attacks, harmful content, disinformation, and psychological pressure in the online environment. The necessity of implementing educational programs on the fundamentals of cyber hygiene, developing information verification skills, and using digital protection tools is substantiated. The role of parents, teachers, state and public initiatives in fostering children’s digital literacy is emphasized, as well as the importance of international cooperation and innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence, for detecting harmful content and preventing modern digital threats such as deepfakes and cyber grooming. У публікації розглянуто проблему формування навичок кібергігієни у дітей як базової передумови забезпечення їхньої інформаційної безпеки в умовах воєнного стану. Показано, що активне використання цифрових технологій підвищує ризики кібербулінгу, фішингових атак, впливу шкідливого контенту, дезінформації та психологічного тиску в онлайн-середовищі. Обґрунтовано необхідність впровадження освітніх програм з основ кібергігієни, розвитку навичок перевірки інформації та використання цифрових засобів захисту. Акцентовано роль батьків, педагогів, державних і громадських ініціатив у формуванні цифрової грамотності дітей, а також значення міжнародної співпраці та інноваційних технологій, зокрема штучного інтелекту, для виявлення шкідливого контенту й запобігання новітнім цифровим загрозам, таким як дипфейки та кібергрумінг.
Distance foreign language learning in synchronous mode in Ukrainian university context: theoretical and practical aspects

Дистанційне вивчення іноземної мови відбувається у двох режимах: синхронному та асинхронному. У період карантинних обмежень через COVID-19 саме синхронна форма дистанційного навчання виявилася найбільш затребуваною в українських університетах. В Україні існує законодавча база для дистанційного навчання у закладах вищої освіти. Аналіз зарубіжних і вітчизняних наукових праць з проблеми дистанційного навчання показав, що теоретичні засади дистанційного навчання іноземної мови в синхронному режимі ще недостатньо розроблені. Автори статті, спираючись на власний досвід, розглядають питання впливу дистанційного навчання в синхронному режимі на методику та зміст навчання іноземної мови, визначають компетенції викладача іноземної мови в умовах дистанційного навчання в синхронному режимі, аналізують дидактичні можливості платформи ZOOM, формулюють етику інтерактивного спілкування на платформі ZOOM; показують переваги дистанційного навчання іноземної мови в синхронному режимі, характеризують технічні умови для дистанційного навчання іноземної мови в синхронному режимі на платформі ZOOM та обговорють економіку дистанційного навчання в синхронному режимі в Україні. Distance learning of a foreign language occurs in two modes: synchronous and asynchronous. During the period of COVID-19 quarantine restrictions, it was the synchronous distance learning mode that turned out to be most in demand in Ukrainian universities. In Ukraine, there is a legislative framework for distance learning in higher education institutions. The analysis of foreign and domestic scientific works on the problem of distance learning has shown that the theoretical foundations of distance learning of a foreign language in a synchronous mode have not yet been sufficiently developed. The authors of the article, relying on their own experience, consider the issues of the influence of distance learning in synchronous mode on the methodology and content of foreign language learning, define the competencies of a foreign language teacher in terms of distance learning in synchronous mode, analyze the didactic capabilities of the ZOOM platform, formulate the ethics of interactive communication on the ZOOM platform; show the advantages of distance learning of a foreign language in synchronous mode, characterize the technical conditions for distance learning of a foreign language in synchronous mode on the ZOOM platform and discuss the Economics of distance learning in synchronous mode in Ukraine.

Features of using information technologies in law enforcement

The use of information technologies (IT) has become increasingly important in law enforcement activities due to the large amounts of data that agencies need to process and analyze. The article outlines the key features of IT application: data collection and analysis (predictive policing, patterns identification), digital forensics (recovering evidence from digital devices), improved communication and coordination, and the use of surveillance technologies. The author concludes that IT significantly enhances the efficiency of crime prevention and investigation in modern conditions. У статті розглядаються особливості та важливість використання інформаційних технологій (ІТ) у правоохоронній діяльності. Автор підкреслює, що в умовах великих обсягів даних, які потребують обробки, ІТ стають незамінним інструментом. Описано основні аспекти застосування технологій: збір та аналіз даних (прогнозне моделювання, виявлення закономірностей), цифрову криміналістику (вилучення доказів з пристроїв), покращення комунікації та координації між підрозділами, а також використання систем відеоспостереження та розпізнавання обличь. Information Technologies as a Factor in the Modernization of Professional Training of Law Enforcement Officers

The paper examines the role of information technologies in the modernization of professional training of law enforcement officers in the context of the digital transformation of society. The necessity of integrating information technologies into the psychological, theoretical, and practical components of the educational process is substantiated. The study analyzes the possibilities of using digital simulations, interactive training tools, information and analytical systems, and electronic resources for the development of professional competencies of future law enforcement officers. Particular attention is paid to the importance of developing digital competencies, analytical thinking, and the ability to work with large volumes of data in modern law enforcement activities. It is concluded that the systematic integration of information technologies into professional training contributes to improving the quality of education and increasing the readiness of law enforcement specialists to respond to contemporary security challenges. У тезах досліджується роль інформаційних технологій у модернізації професійної підготовки працівників правоохоронних органів в умовах цифрової трансформації суспільства. Обґрунтовується необхідність інтеграції інформаційних технологій у психологічний, теоретичний та практичний компоненти освітнього процесу. Розглянуто можливості використання цифрових симуляцій, інтерактивних тренажерів, інформаційно-аналітичних систем та електронних ресурсів для формування професійних компетентностей майбутніх правоохоронців. Наголошено на важливості розвитку цифрових компетентностей, аналітичного мислення та здатності працювати з великими масивами даних у сучасній правоохоронній діяльності. Modern and Fashionable Methods of Studying Foreign Languages at Non-Lnguistic Faculties on the Example of Training Future Police Officers

Під навчальною методикою «Квест» навчання іноземної мови для майбутніх поліцейських ми розуміємо навчально-ігровий засіб вивчення іноземної мови, під час якого майбутні поліцейські можуть активізувати лексичні, граматичні, фонетичні вміння та навички. Він характеризується наявністю кількох локацій, під час яких курсанти також можуть вдосконалювати свої фізичні навички та підвищувати рівень мотивації до оволодіння іноземною мовою. Під освітньою методикою «Coworking» навчання іноземної мови майбутніх поліцейських ми розуміємо навчально-ігровий засіб вивчення іноземної мови, під час якого майбутні поліцейські можуть формувати, активізувати та розвивати власні комунікативні вміння та навички (монологічні, діалогічні, полілогічний, груповий), що призведе до підвищення рівня іншомовної комунікативної компетенції. Навчальний метод «Майстерня» навчання іноземної мови для майбутніх поліцейських ми розуміємо як: освітньо-ігровий засіб вивчення іноземної мови, під час якого майбутні поліцейські можуть набути відповідних знань, навичок, поділитися власними знаннями та досвідом у вирішення різноманітних задач і завдань іноземною мовою. We understand the educational method «Quest» of teaching foreign language for future police officers as an educational and playful means of learning a foreign language, during which future police officers can activate lexical, grammatical, phonetic skills and abilities. It is characterized by the presence of several locations, during which cadets can also improve their physical skills and raise the level of motivation to master a foreign language. We understand the educational method «Сoworking» of teaching foreign language for future police officers as an educational and playful means of learning a foreign language, during which future police officers can form, activate and develop their own communicative skills and abilities (monological, dialogical, polylogical, group), which will lead to an increase in the level of foreign language communicative competence. We understand the educational method «Workshop» of teaching foreign language for future police officers as: as an educational and playful means of learning a foreign language, during which future police officers can acquire relevant knowledge, skills, and share their own knowledge and experience in solving various problems and issues in a foreign language.
On the role of English for specific purposes in STEAM education

This study argues that ESP students are not able to design robots or reproduce complex technological processes in ESP classes; such projects should be managed by specialists in the physical and mathematical cycle of disciplines. ESP is only a means of obtaining and disseminating the necessary information. ESP teachers should consider using STEAM elements to help their students learn the subject material and diversify the educational process. In the context of University Steam Education, it is advisable to change not only the content, forms and methods of teaching a foreign language, but also to replace the name of the discipline English for Special Purposes with Steam English, a term that has recently appeared in the global virtual space of Steam Education. У цьому дослідженні стверджується, що студенти, які вивчають англійську мову професійного спрямування, не можуть конструювати роботів або відтворювати складні технологічні процеси на заняттях з англійської мови професійного спрямування; такими проектами повинні керувати фахівці з фізико-математичного циклу дисциплін. Англійська мова професійного спрямування є лише засобом отримання та поширення необхідної інформації. Викладачі англійської мови професійного спрямування повинні розглянути можливість використання елементів STEAM, щоб допомогти своїм студентам засвоїти навчальний матеріал та урізноманітнити навчальний процес. У контексті університетської STEAM освіти доцільно змінити не тільки зміст, форми і методи викладання іноземної мови, а й замінити назву дисципліни «Англійська мова професійного спрямування» на «Steam English» - термін, який нещодавно з'явився у глобальному віртуальному просторі STEAM Education.
Participation of students and cadets in a scientific and practical conference in foreign languages as the realization of their foreign language communicative competence

Кафедра іноземних мов Донецького державного університету внутрішніх справ щорічно проводить Всеукраїнську науково-практичну студентську конференцію з іноземних мов. Останнім часом його темою є "Правоохоронні органи на захисті правопорядку та конституційних свобод в умовах миру та воєнного стану". Тематичні напрямки конференції наступні:·- захист конституційних прав людини в діяльності поліції в зоні військового конфлікту; - міжнародні стандарти правоохоронної діяльності в мирний час і під час воєнного стану; - запобігання правопорушенням правоохоронними органами в мирний час і під час воєнного стану; - взаємодія правоохоронних органів та громадськості у сфері громадського порядку в мирний час і під час воєнного стану; ·- актуальні питання підготовки співробітників правоохоронних органів в мирний час і під час воєнного стану. Кадети та студенти з різних університетів України готують реферати та презентації іноземних мов, беруть участь у наукових дискусіях. Як показує досвід роботи, участь студентів та курсантів у науково-практичних конференціях на іноземних мовах є потужним інструментом розвитку їх комунікативної компетенції в іноземній мові. Цей процес сприяє не тільки розвитку мовних навичок, але і формуванню важливих компетенцій, таких як критичне мислення, здатність до наукових аргументів та міжкультурної комунікації. Участь у конференціях також відкриває нові можливості для професійного розвитку та інтеграції в міжнародне наукове співтовариство, що важливо для формування конкурентоспроможних фахівців у глобалізованому світі. The Department of Foreign Languages of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs holds annually All-Ukrainian scientific and practical cadet/student conference in foreign languages. Recently, its topic is «Law enforcement agencies: the defense of public order and constitutional freedoms during peace and martial law». Thematic directions of the conference are as follows: ·- protection of constitutional human rights in the activities of police in the zone of military conflict; ·- international standards of law enforcement activities in peacetime and under martial law; · - prevention of offenses by law enforcement agencies in peacetime and under martial law; · - interaction of law enforcement agencies and the public in the field of public order in peacetime and under martial law; · - topical issues of training law enforcement officers in peacetime and under martial law. Cadets and students from different universities in Ukraine prepare the abstracts and presentations of foreign languages, participate in scientific discussions. As work experience shows, the participation of students and cadets in scientific and practical conferences in foreign languages is a powerful tool for developing their foreign language communicative competence. This process contributes not only to the development of language skills, but also to the formation of important competencies, such as critical thinking, the ability to make scientific arguments and intercultural communication. Participation in conferences also opens up new opportunities for professional development and integration into the international scientific community, which is important for the formation of competitive specialists in the globalized world.
Pedagogical aspects of teaching the discipline "Information support of professional activity" of future law enforcement specialists

The article examines the methodology of teaching the discipline "Information Support of Professional Activity" for future police officers. The main focus is on the formation of practical skills in working with network technologies, cloud services, and specialized databases of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. У статті розглянуто методику викладання дисципліни «Інформаційне забезпечення професійної діяльності» для майбутніх офіцерів поліції. Основна увага приділяється формуванню практичних навичок роботи з мережевими технологіями, хмарними сервісами та спеціалізованими базами даних МВС. Автор обґрунтовує важливість використання віртуальних тренажерів та програмних комплексів для підвищення якості підготовки фахівців. Процес навчання спрямований на ефективне застосування ІТ-інструментів у протидії злочинності та захисті прав громадян. Вивчення дисципліни сприяє розвитку інформаційно-аналітичних компетенцій, необхідних для сучасної правоохоронної діяльності.
Police officers’ formation of foreign language communicative competence through the prism of European integration

At the moment, the study of English by the employees of the National Police of Ukraine is an extremely urgent task, because given the political views of our country, which is on the path to European integration, one of the conditions for Ukraine's accession to the European Union will be to provide the executive authorities with employees who speak English. This is all related to the fact that all units and employees of the National Police of Ukraine will be checked for compliance with European standards, and this includes the financial support of police officers and their working conditions, however, after Ukraine's entry into the European Union, all police officers must possess in English. Наразі вивчення англійської мови співробітниками Національної поліції України є надзвичайно актуальним завданням. З огляду на політичний курс нашої країни, що прямує шляхом європейської інтеграції, однією з умов вступу України до Європейського Союзу буде забезпечення органів виконавчої влади співробітниками, які володіють англійською мовою. Це пов'язано з тим, що всі підрозділи та співробітники Національної поліції України проходитимуть перевірку на відповідність європейським стандартам. Це включає не лише фінансове забезпечення поліцейських та їхні умови праці, але й, що особливо важливо, після вступу України до Європейського Союзу всі поліцейські повинні будуть володіти англійською мовою.

Методи і форми роботи наукового гуртка включають: - проведення наукових конференцій, круглих столів за участю представників правоохоронних органів, сертифікованих перекладачів та інших фахівців; - використання інтерактивних методів навчання, таких як ролеві ігри, симуляції реальних ситуацій, тематичні мовні тренінги; - навчання професійному словнику, конкретним мовним конструкціям, які можуть бути корисними під час виконання службових обов'язків; - підтримка самостійної роботи студентів за допомогою дослідницьких проектів, написання наукових статей на тему використання іноземної мови в правоохоронних органах. Робота наукових гуртків з використанням іноземних мов сприяє розширенню міжнародного співробітництва з іншими університетами та організаціями з метою поліпшення практики взаємодії студентів та курсантів з носіями іноземних мов. Students who actively participate in the work of the scientific group have the opportunity to improve not only the level of foreign language proficiency, but also the ability to communicate in professional situations that require accuracy and clarity. Involvement in practical tasks (translation, oral presentations, negotiations) ensures the formation of effective communication skills necessary for a successful career in law enforcement. The methods and forms of work of the scientific group include the following: - conducting scientific conferences, round tables with the participation of representatives of law enforcement agencies, certified translators and other specialists; - use of interactive training methods, such as role-playing games, simulations of real situations, thematic language trainings; - teaching professional vocabulary, specific language constructions that can be useful during the performance of official duties; - supporting students' independent work through research projects, writing scientific articles on the topic of using a foreign language in law enforcement. The work of scientific groups using foreign languages contributes to the expansion of international cooperation with other universities and organizations to improve the practice of interaction of students and cadets with foreign languages speakers.

У статті досліджено актуальність впровадження технологій розвідки на основі відкритих джерел (OSINT) у навчальний процес підготовки фахівців правоохоронних органів. Автор обґрунтовує, що навчання OSINT сприяє підвищенню цифрової грамотності, розвитку аналітичних навичок та розслідувальних можливостей курсантів для ефективної протидії сучасним загрозам, таким як кіберзлочинність та тероризм.
